Deadline to Apply Each Year is April 30
In 2007 the School District of Nekoosa sold property to ERCO Worldwide. A portion of this land sale was put into a fund with Incourage Community Foundation. Now the earnings from that fund have generated enough money to begin awarding grants!
Role of the Fund
The role of the fund is to encourage district staff members to use their creativity to design or improve programs/services, projects or events currently offered in the Nekoosa Public Schools or that may be offered in the future. The goal is to supplement and not replace the generous support provided by booster clubs, PTOs, and other vital organizations within our schools.
Who Can Apply
School District of Nekoosa teachers and staff. Joint proposals from teams of teachers are also welcome, however, each teacher will be allowed only one grant award per year.
Amount of Grants
Grant requests may be submitted for up to $200.00.
Schedule
1. Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of submitting grant application.
2. Grant funds must be used within the school year awarded.
