Welcome Back!
I bump into people daily that share with me the fact that they grew up in Nekoosa and are happy to call Nekoosa High School their alma mater. The conversation almost always includes that they are proud to be a “Papermaker.” Many alumni have returned to the District to raise families after having discovered a love of learning while attending Nekoosa Public schools. Alumni have stayed or come back to the area because it’s a great place to live and raise kids. With its family-friendly opportunities, bountiful natural beauty and exceptional educational opportunities, Nekoosa is just the place to live, no matter what phase of life. If you are interested in supporting our friends of Nekoosa Endowment Fund, please read below how you can offer financial support to students attending Nekoosa Public Schools today. If you would like to have your class reunion information added to our website, please call 715-886-8000 or email Diana

Endowment Fund
In 2007 the School District of Nekoosa sold property to ERCO Worldwide. A portion of this land sale was put into a fund with Incourage Community Foundation. Now the earnings from that fund have generated enough money to begin awarding grants! The Friends of Nekoosa Public Schools is advised by a board of volunteer community members and assisted by Incourage.
Role of the Fund
The role of the fund is to encourage district staff members to use their creativity to design or improve programs/services, projects or events currently offered in the Nekoosa Public Schools or that may be offered in the future. The goal is to supplement and not replace the generous support provided by booster clubs, PTOs, and other vital organizations within our schools.
