If you would like your child(ren) to attend school in the School District of Nekoosa but you are not a resident, there are two ways to apply for open enrollment:

• The regular application period is used to apply for the following school year.
• The alternative application procedure is used to apply for the current school year.

The Regular Open Enrollment period is open effective February 3, 2025 through April 30, 2025 at 4:00 PM.

JULY 1 THROUGH FEBRUARY.

Open Enrollment Alternative Application must be used from July 1 through the February.

Part-Time Open Enrollment Application

Beginning in 2018-19 school year, a pupil enrolled in a public school in the high school grades may attend public school in a nonresident school district for purpose of taking a course offered by the nonresident school district.  A pupil may attend no more than two courses at any time in nonresident school districts.
