Alexander Middle School Get Involved
Motivated Volunteer Parent Support (MVPS)
We have a parent group, MVPS (Motivated Volunteer Parent Support) group that meets every second Monday of the school year months at 6:00 p.m. in our middle school library. The MVPS were established in 2005 to help promote communication and support between staff, students, and their families at the middle level. They are always looking for volunteers and would love your help. If you are interested in joining, please feel free to attend any monthly meeting or call our school office for more information.
Volunteer Program
We invite all parents or grandparents to work in our school as a volunteer. We are always in need of help. If interested, please contact our office at 886-8040. It takes many loving and caring adults to help each child reach his/her potential. Any help you can give directly to the students or by helping teachers prepare materials is appreciated.
Easy Ways to Earn Money for Your School
All of our school benefit from these fundraising programs. Thank you for your support!
- Box Tops for Education - Earn cash for our school every time you shop. Just clip the box tops from hundreds of your favorite groceries. Each box top coupon is worth 10 cents or more to our school and that can add up fast. All funds from Box Tops for Education help sponsor our author visits.
- Take Charge of Education - Here is how it works: Apply and get your Target REDcard. Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. Use your REDcard whenever you shop. When you use your REDcard Target will donate up to 1% of your purchase to the school of your choice. Grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the program. The more people we involve, the harder the program works for our school.
