Softball has been offered to NHS girls since 1975. Every year Nekoosa has varsity and junior varsity teams that play a 20-game schedule. Most years we also have a freshmen team (numbers permitting) that plays 8 to 10 games. The season runs from the middle of March through May. Nekoosa softball has been successful competing in the South Central Conference and will continue to be in the future.
