AMS/NHS Disc Golf Course
The AMS/NHS Disc Golf Course is an 18-basket experience. Participants can play a combination of the Red, White, or Blue Courses. The White Course includes 18 baskets spread over the AMS and NHS campuses. The Blue Course comprises nine baskets on the AMS campus, and the Red Course is on the NHS campus.
NHS - Red Course - Nine Baskets
Starting at NHS will place you at the first tee box of the Red Course. Participants can park in the parking lot at NHS and enter the course by walking between the softball diamond and the Nekoosa Sports Complex facility. This course challenges players because of the proximity to the prairie and the school forest.
AMS - Blue Course - Nine Baskets
To play the Blue Course, participants will want to go behind AMS. Parking is available near the maintenance building located next to Birch Street. Tee basket number one is located near the pavilion behind AMS. The course provides players ample fairways while negotiating trees and ravines filled with marsh grasses.
AMS/NHS - White Course - Eighteen Baskets
The White Course combines the Red and Blue Course with a twist. Players will experience new fairways and baskets over the AMS and NHS campuses. Individuals looking to play all 18 baskets in numerical order should park behind AMS and begin a the pavilion located behind AMS.
Expectations
All courses are open to the public during non-school hours. Tobacco, alcohol, and drug use are not permitted on school grounds, and pets need to be leashed. Participants will need to carry out their trash and recycling.
