About Nekoosa

About the School District of Nekoosa

The School District of Nekoosa is a Pre-K – 12 public school system, which serves students in the city of Nekoosa and townships of Armenia, Port Edwards, Rome, and Saratoga.  Our district serves 1,350+ students within its four buildings.

Please take a moment and look at our most recent School Performance Report made available through the Department of Public Instruction . Our ACT and State Achievement scores are above the state and local average and continue to improve each year. Our attendance rate is excellent (95%) and our dropout rate is less than 1%. We have the highest graduation rate in our conference.

The success of our students is directly connected to our dedicated, caring staff, active parental involvement, and our supportive community. Visitors are welcomed in the Nekoosa Public Schools. Our school buildings are all state-of-the-art and enhance student learning opportunities. The staff is always excited about the opportunity to "show case" our educational programs and services while you tour our facilities.

The Nekoosa Public Schools Board of Education and employees share a common vision of making our school district "the school district of choice" in Central Wisconsin. When you visit you will see that we are well on the way to reach that goal.
